1. About Territory Run

Territory Run is a location-based fitness app where runners track hexagonal tiles by running through them. All territory ownership is virtual and exists only within the Territory Run app. “Owning” a zone or tile confers no real-world property rights.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have a valid Strava account to use Territory Run.

3. Strava Integration

Territory Run uses the Strava API to access your running activities. By connecting your Strava account, you authorize us to read your activity data (routes, distance, time) in accordance with Strava's API Agreement.

You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting in Settings or from your Strava app settings.

4. Fair Play

The following are prohibited and may result in account suspension:

• Submitting fake or spoofed GPS activities
• Using bots or automated tools to generate activities
• Manipulating Strava data to gain unfair advantage
• Creating multiple accounts

Activities flagged by Strava are automatically rejected. We also validate pace, distance, and elevation to detect anomalies.

5. Citizen Upgrade & Payments

The Citizen upgrade costs ₹365 one-time (inclusive of taxes) — that's ₹1 per day. Payment is processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your payment card or UPI details.

6. Refund Policy

Since the Citizen upgrade provides immediate access to game features (tile claiming, leaderboard ranking, retroactive tile conversion), refunds are generally not available after the upgrade is activated.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, contact us within 7 days at support@territory.run and we will review your case.

7. Seasons & Resets

Territory Run operates in monthly seasons. All tile ownership resets at the start of each season. Your Citizen status and payment are permanent — they are not affected by season resets.

8. Zone Creation

Users can create zones from their Strava activities. Zone names are subject to review and may be rejected or modified if they contain offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content. Zone creators earn referral credits when referred users upgrade — this is in-game credit, not guaranteed income.

9. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Disconnect Account. This removes all your data including activities, tiles, tokens, and payment records. Your Strava OAuth access is revoked. This cannot be undone.

10. Limitation of Liability

Territory Run is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for injuries sustained while running, loss of game progress due to technical issues, or any damages arising from use of the service. Please run safely and be aware of your surroundings.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Territory Run after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
